WEST END AGENTS SUMMER BALL
We were delighted to organise the West End Office Agents Society’s annual Summer Ball for a third year, a hugely popular occasion within the industry and a key fundraiser for their chosen charities.
The London Film Museum in Covent Garden was chosen as the backdrop for this year’s celebrations, and with the Bond in Motion exhibition in situ, featuring over 100 original vehicles and artefacts spanning all 24 films, the creative theme obviously had to be all things, Bond!
The villainous Blofeld and his glamorous sidekick Helga Humpalot welcomed the 250 guests on arrival and were on hand for photos as guests compared their outfits – including several astronauts, lots of day of the dead characters and no less than seventeen identically dressed Roger Moores!
Champagne and canapés were served on trays featuring mini roulette wheels and Aston Martins accompanied by a string quartet performing classic Bond theme tunes before the main gallery was revealed where guests were seated for dinner amongst the famous car collection and other nostalgic memorabilia. A sumptuous three-course supper was served to tables with casino themed centre pieces and games were played to raise money for the chosen charity Operation Smile.
Following dinner and speeches, guests moved through to the cellars where a Little Big Band played live on the dance floor to get the party started and a pop-up casino with roulette and blackjack, racing car game and photo booth all raised further funds.
This years event was a massive success, with the popular theme really shaking things up and causing a stir!
