To produce a hair & beauty tent at Wilderness Festival 2015, providing DIY hair & makeup stations for the 2500 guests staying in Boutique as well as bookable appointments for hair styling and glitter face art.

In response to this brief, we created a luxurious pop-up salon concept perfect for VIP areas at music festivals and all types of events.

 

Housed in a beautiful arabian tent, the underlying design of the salon stayed true to the aesthetic of the rest of the field, with mismatching antique dressing mirrors, vintage trunks, floor lamps and ladders covered in flowers and foliage.

 

We topped this with our own quirky and colourful touches to add an element of fun – kitsch pineapple lamps, preening bird ornaments, WOW circus letters and four stunning neons from our friends at the Lights of Soho gallery and Gods Own Junkyard.

 

The salon sold out of all appointments for the weekend by Friday morning, and the styling team had a lot of fun creating hundreds of amazing hair and glitter make up looks, using products from Batiste and Bosch Hair.

 

Also available for guests to buy was a specially curated collection of fabulous festival fashion and accessories from Secret Emporium, and the luckiest customers received complimentary champagne icicles courtesy of POPS.
